Lips pigmentation is a semi-permanent makeup treatment that allows the natural colouring of the lips. This treatment also allows the better definition of the lips’ contour, redrawing the mouth’s silhouette to give the effect of volume. All this is achieved by manually injecting colour pigments in the upper lever of the epidermis with microneedles.
Ombré Lips is makeup technique that produces a fascinating lips look by combining different colour tones or shades while creating a colour fading or transition effect to achieve multiple lip-highlighting effects.
The Ombré effect can be creating by starting with a stronger colour in the contour and making it lighter while approaching the inner lip.
The rise in popularity has made Ombré Lips one of the most requested makeup styles, so it was only natural to develop a micropigmentation technique that would produce the same results. At House of Brows, we have mastered the Ombré Lips semi-permanent makeup technique and now you can have Ombré Lips through natural colouring for at least 2 years!

The results of Ombré Lips or Lip Blush can last from 2 to 3 years until the colour disappears completely after slowly and gradually fading. We therefore recommend retouching the Permanent Make Up for longer-lasting results. However, never forget that semi-permanent makeup is an art more than an exact science, so results can vary from person to person due to their age, cellular regeneration capabilities, lifestyle and the level of pigmentation applied.
The treatment session
The treatment lasts between 2 and 3 hours depending on what’s required, pigmentation, contour, retouching, etc. After completing the request form, the technician will design the lip’s contour to your instructions and together will decide the pigment to use based on the desired effect. Only after all has been confirmed will the procedure start.
Before lips treatment If you are getting your lips done, you will need to take a cold sore preventive treatment for a week prior. Even if you have never had a cold sore outbreak, the virus may be lying dormant in your system and if so, tattooing lips can bring it out.
